OOSH / Community Groups
Frontline Child Safety
A hands-on, high-energy workshop built for vacation care, after-school programs, and community groups — no classroom required.
Why This Program Exists
Kids spend a lot of time in OOSH and community settings — and that's exactly where conversations about safety need to happen too. Not just at school. Not just at home. Here, in the spaces where they're relaxed, engaged, and ready to talk.
OOSH & Vacation Care - No Devices Required
Frontline Child Safety directly supports the child protection and safety obligations that OOSH services hold under the National Quality Framework.
The program addresses all three core child safety themes relevant to out-of-school-hours care:
-
Recognising unsafe situations — children identify warning signs, unsafe contact, and online risks appropriate to their age
-
Power in relationships — children develop language to name manipulation, pressure, and uncomfortable situations
-
Protective strategies — children practise help-seeking skills and leave knowing exactly who to tell and how
The program aligns with NQF Quality Area 2 (Children's Health and Safety) and supports services in meeting their duty of care obligations around child protection education — delivered in a format that fits naturally into your vacation care or after-school program.
