About
Frontline Child Safety

Jen Kendell, Lead Presenter
I've spent 25 years working with children in just about every capacity you can imagine — as an OOSH educator, a School Learning Support Officer, a gymnastics coach in local schools, a CrossFit and personal training coach, and a NSW Police officer. Working with kids isn't just my background. It's what I'm genuinely here to do.
I spent 12 years as a NSW Police officer working in Child Protection. Not community programs — investigations. I sat across from the people who exploit children. I interviewed victims. I worked the cases that never make the news.
I'm also a mum. I know how busy life gets. I know you can't be looking over your child's shoulder every minute of the day — and I'm not here to tell you that you should be. What I am here to do is make sure your kids are equipped to handle what comes their way when you're not there — and that you're equipped to pick up the signs when something isn't right.
I left the force knowing two things: these crimes are far more common than most families realise, and the families who understand the risks have children who are significantly safer.
I built this program because I believe that knowledge is the most powerful protection we can give our kids. Not fear. Not surveillance. Just honest, age-appropriate information delivered by someone who actually knows what's going on out there.

Why Frontline Child Safety Exists
In 12 years of child protection investigations, the same question came up constantly — from parents, from teachers, from the children themselves:
"Why didn't anyone tell us about this?"
The information exists. The research is there. But most of it sits inside government reports, academic papers, and policy documents that families never see.
Frontline Child Safety exists to close that gap. To take what practitioners actually know about how these crimes work, and put it directly into the hands of the families and schools who need it — in plain language, at the right age, before it's too late.
